Who doesn't love purple and lavender together? Then coupled with leopard print designer ribbon? Oh my yes....the photos just do not do this beautiful swag justice.
Here we are, September is halfway over, Halloween is around the corner, next is Thanksgiving, then Christmas...where has this year gone? Living in a world of a pandemic that's where! It's incredible that it's been 6 months since this all began and having to work from home. Don't get me wrong, I love working from home, days with no makeup, hair in a ponytail, yoga pants, tshirts, but most of all Hogan, my sweet little dog, loves that I am working from home. Having said that, I can certainly see where staying positive is a challenge though. My husband lost his job at the very beginning of this pandemic and hasn't worked since. Unfortunately, we weren't fortunate enough for him to qualify for the $4000 a month unemployment payments. Life has been a struggle to say the least.
As my September 26 craft show (at The Lone Star Convention Center) is quickly approaching, I find myself struggling to muster up excitement and enthusiasm. I love crafting, I love my craft room, I love bringing new ideas to life but the confinement is deafening. The lack of interaction is excruciatingly painful. Does anyone else feel that way?
How are you taking care of yourself to not slip into a depression? Do you workout at home? Are you preparing new recipes? Making more phone calls? Working in your yard? Taking up a new hobby or perfecting an old one? Watching new television shows or reruns of old ones? Cleaning, organizing, rearranging, and rearranging again?
I feel like if we're doing any of the above or all of the above then we are taking care of ourselves...congratulations and keep up the good work!
